Raw Materials
In 2003 the company purchased a total of 157,010 dmt of zinc sulphide concentrate and zinc silicate ores, at a ratio of 89% and 11% respectively. The majority of zinc sulphide concentrate is sourced from South America and Australia and is delivered to the Calcine plant in Rayong province. As for the zinc silicate ore, the portion that is not produced at the company’s Mae Sot mine is procured from neighbouring countries.
