Clarification on the company's performance results in 2001
From the company's statement of income on Equity Method, the company's 2001 total revenue is Bt5,203.26m compared to the 2000 total revenue of Bt5,400.39m, a 3.64% decrease. The net profit for the year is Bt185.50m compared to Bt323.66m in 2000, a 42.69% decrease which attributed to low LME zinc price in 2001. An earning per share in 2001 is Bt0.82 compared to an earning per share of Bt1.95 in the year 2000.
From the company's consolidated statement of income, total revenue is Bt5,222.02m compared to the revenue of Bt5,315.45m in 2000, a 1.76% decrease. The net profit for the year is Bt335.30m (which included a gain from deconsolidation of the subsidiary of Bt150.87m) as compared to Bt210.99m in 2000. An earning per share in 2001 is Bt1.48 compared to Bt1.27 in the year 2000.
