Community Relations
The friendship and trust that the community has shown the company for more than 20 years is deeply meaningful and provides a sense of pride which reinforces our firm commitment towards supporting and helping to build a better community. Many of the development activities and assistance programs focus on education including awarding annual scholarships, donating learning materials, funding school lunch programs and school building maintenance and repair work. The company recognizes that education is fundamental for creating a knowledgeable society that is self-reliant and is the foundation for developing the community and the country as a whole. In addition to the previously mentioned activities, the company places great importance on raising the quality of life for the local community in various ways such as public health, vocation, religion, athletics and public welfare. Each year the company lends its support to these types of development and assistance efforts with allocations in 2003 totaling Baht 3.2 million
  • Awarding annual academic scholarships to a total of 431 students
  • Donating computers to 11 local school and learning materials to students in underprivileged areas
  • Constructing school buildings and planting a vegetable garden at the Ta-Lay school in Tak province and building a chicken coop for the school lunch program at the Baan Pa-Dae school in Mae Sot district in Tak province
  • Building lavatories, renovating the playground and planting a vegetable garden at the Baan Wang Hin Community School.
  • Renovating the main building, playground and service road at the Baan Mae Dao Pae school in Mae Sot district in Tak province.
  • Constructing a multi-purpose pavilion at the Pa-Dae village in Mae Sot district in Tak province
  • Renovating 2 special in-patient units at the King Thaksin Maharaj Hospital
  • Supporting vocational training for the natural dye weaving group and the Karenni chili pepper growing and preserving group in the Pa-Dae village, Tum Suea village and the Chunhuay Mae Sot village, under the patronage of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn
  • Contributing in the commissioning of land for construction of a new community rice mill for the Pra-Tad Padaeng rice farming group and providing mushroom spores to the senior citizens group at the Mae Ku Noi village in Mae Sot district, Tak province

The company encourages interested parties to tour our production facilities and study our environmental protection measures as well as develops quality standards systems of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and TIS 18001. The company welcomes numerous visitors from academic institutions, government agencies, community leaders and business entitles to our offices each year.
